Nice looking card. It does have a chalky look to it.

What fun. Hats off to you! I never really thought about what stamps lend to the chalk board technique - but this one certainly does. I could definitely see a couple of my teachers writing that on the board with little flourishes! This would have been fun to send to one of my grade school principals but she died earlier this year at 90+ years. The hat is cute on there. I don't have any of the Wink of Stella stuff but I think I need to try playing with it sometime. Too bad it doesn't show up better in photos. I forgot the clock in our bedroom automatically turns back the hour so I was a bit miffed when I figured it out that it was really the time. Oh well, it takes me awhile to adjust anyway. Good luck on the babysitting and working on your albums!

I really like the chalk technique on this card! Hopefully you can work on the albums in SL while the kids are at school. Hope the retreat was fun, I'm sure it was too!

Love this card! Found some chalk board paper in my stuff yesterday! I could use that for this card. Maybe I will try both the black paper & the chalk board paper. The Wink of Stella would make the hat stand out, & I have some! Good luck babysitting!
